State-recognized accreditation

Peer review, not a rubber stamp.

The Virginia Board of Education granted the Virginia Council for Private Education authority over nonpublic school accreditation under §22.1-19 of the Code of Virginia. VAISEF conducts that review for specialized education facilities — on site, by peers who run schools like yours.

For families, an accredited school means an independent body has verified its standards. For schools, it means accountability and a structure for continuous improvement.
